The things parents ask us first
What's the difference between a workshop and a class?
A workshop is a one-time event on a specific date — you register for that date only. A class runs every weekend at the same time, so you can come back week after week. Same crafts, same guides, different rhythm.
Do I need to stay with my child?
For ages 5–7 we ask a grown-up to stay in the studio — there's a corner with coffee and decent chairs. From age 8 you're welcome to drop off and come back at the end.
What if my child has never crafted before?
Perfect. Every session starts from zero and the technique is demonstrated step by step. With six children per guide, nobody is left staring at a blank table.
Is it messy? What should they wear?
Gloriously messy — and we provide aprons. Still, send them in clothes you wouldn't mind meeting clay or paint.
Are the materials safe?
Yes. Non-toxic, child-safe glues, paints and clay throughout. Donated materials are washed and inspected before they reach a table, and sharp tools are used only in older age groups with a guide alongside.
What about allergies or additional needs?
Tell us on the registration form. We work around common allergies and are happy to adapt a session for sensory, mobility or attention needs — just give us a little notice.
Can we come to a class every week?
Absolutely — that's what they're for. A 5- or 10-class pass works out cheaper per session and never expires. See the registration page.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 48 hours before for a full refund or a free transfer to another date. Inside 48 hours we'll offer a transfer wherever we can fill the spot.
